This Consent and Authorization ("Consent") is provided by the undersigned seller ("Seller") in favour of Bhaiyaa ("Platform") for the purpose of facilitating registration under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and applicable regulations issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India ("FSSAI").

1. 1. Authorization

   The Seller hereby authorizes the Platform to:

   • (a) apply for and obtain a Basic FSSAI Registration (valid for one year) on behalf of the Seller;
   • (b) submit applications, forms, declarations, and any other documentation as may be required by FSSAI; and
   • (c) interact with relevant authorities, including responding to queries, clarifications, or additional information requests in connection with such application.
   • (d) to display FSSAI registration details on the platform as required by law.

2. 2. Consent for Data Collection and Sharing

   The Seller expressly consents to the Platform:

   • (a) collecting, processing, and storing personal and business information and documents provided by the Seller;
   • (b) sharing such information and documents with FSSAI or any competent authority for the purpose of obtaining the registration; and
   • (c) using such information for compliance, verification, and record-keeping purposes.

3. 3. Seller Declarations

   The Seller hereby declares and confirms that:

   • (a) all information and documents provided are true, accurate, complete, and not misleading;
   • (b) the Seller qualifies as a petty food business operator eligible for Basic FSSAI Registration; and
   • (c) the Seller shall promptly provide any additional information or documents as may be required by the Platform or FSSAI.

4. 4. No Guarantee of Approval

   The Seller acknowledges that:

   • (a) the Platform acts solely as a facilitator and is not the licensing authority; and
   • (b) grant, rejection, or delay of the FSSAI registration is at the sole discretion of FSSAI, and the Platform shall not be responsible or liable for the outcome.

5. 5. Platform Rights upon Rejection / Non-Compliance

   The Seller agrees that in the event:

   • (a) the FSSAI application is rejected, returned, or not approved for any reason; or
   • (b) the Seller fails to provide required information, documents, or cooperation;

   the Platform shall have the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, reject, or discontinue the Seller's onboarding and/or access to the Platform at any time, without any liability.

6. 6. Ongoing Compliance Responsibility

   • (a) The Seller acknowledges that obtaining the FSSAI registration does not transfer any compliance responsibility to the Platform. The Seller shall remain solely responsible for complying with all applicable food safety laws, regulations, and conditions of the registration at all times.
   • (b) The Seller agrees that the Platform shall not be responsible for monitoring the Seller's turnover or determining eligibility for license category. The Seller shall independently track its turnover and ensure timely upgrade from Basic Registration to State or Central License, as applicable.

7. 7. Indemnity

   The Seller agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform, its affiliates, and representatives from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, or damages arising out of:

   • (a) false, incorrect, or misleading information provided by the Seller;
   • (b) breach of applicable laws or FSSAI requirements; or
   • (c) misuse or non-compliance in relation to the FSSAI registration.

8. 8. Acceptance (Click-Wrap)

   By clicking "I Agree" / "Accept" or by proceeding with onboarding on the Platform, the Seller:

   • confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Consent;
   • provides explicit authorization and consent as stated herein; and
   • acknowledges that this electronic acceptance constitutes a legally binding agreement equivalent to a physical signature.
